Williamsport, PA Post W decided at their October meeting to donate food boxes to families in need at the Loyalsock Valley School in the Montoursville Area School District. The Safety Chairman contacted the school and was given the names of two families with the number of children in each family.
Members brought non-perishable food to the November meeting. This was divided, boxed and combined with Gift Certificates provided by the Post to Weis Food Market for perishable food. This allowed each family to complete their Thanksgiving Dinner and more!
