South Carolina Post K in Rock Hill recently presented a $2,500 sponsorship check to Scholastic 3D Archery State Coordinator Sheila Tadlock. This was made possible by a TPA Headquarters Post and Division Support (HQ-PADS) grant. S3DA is a program to foster, educate and guide youth in the specific areas of indoor target, 3D and outdoor target archery, as well as provide a basic understanding and respect for our natural resources, environment and nature. Several post members are associated with TPA, and Sheila and two members of her family have also joined. There are plans to work together on a TPA membership drive in the near future. TPA will also raise its local profile with signage and program acknowledgement at S3DA events.
