At its September meeting, North Carolina Post A heard about Haynes-Inman Education Center from post member Lea Shore. A special education school that has 130 students aged 3-22, the school needs supplies such as diapers, batteries, tissues and wipes. The post voted to help, and State President Revonda Brady contacted school counselor Joanna Sherron. In short order, Revonda was delivering diapers and getting a tour of the school. She also brought a bundle of CHAD stickers to be used on child car seats, bikes, helmets and the like. After hearing about the benefits of TPA, its community service programs, and the TPA Hearing Trust and Homer T. Wilson Fund charities, Ms. Sheron was moved to join TPA and Post A!
